Don Willie is the president and CEO of the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce, which serves one of the top ten fastest growing communities in the United Stares.
Most recently, he served as the executive director of Dixie State University’s Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and director of the Zions Bank Business Resource Center. In these roles, he oversaw Atwood Innovation Plaza at DSU, a business launchpad and makerspace.
Previously, Willie served as the managing director at the World Trade Center Utah, where he oversaw operations and business outreach for the organization, including initiatives focused on rural Utah. He also owns and operates several small businesses and has acted as a business and political strategist.
Willie is the one of the founders the Emerging Leaders Initiative of Utah and serves as a board member at the Utah Alliance for Economic Development. Don was named a 2017 Utah 20 in their 20’s awardee by Utah Business Magazine and is an advocate for empowering young leaders in the private and public sectors.
Willie holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Utah with an emphasis in international management.
